Gas Leakage in LPG Systems in Vehicles

The regulation numbered 25869, published in the Official Gazette, regarding the control of exhaust gas emissions from motor vehicles operating on public roads, generally requires exhaust gas emission measurements for vehicles at the intervals specified below, according to vehicle types. Accordingly, LPG autogas systems require exhaust gas measurement according to vehicle types. For private automobiles, it must be done for the first time after 3 years and then every two years. For official automobiles, it must be done after the first two years and then annually. For other motor vehicles, it must be done after the first year and then annually. Furthermore, all motor vehicles operating on public roads must undergo this measurement annually after ten years. With the aim of considering everyone's life and property safety, inspections conducted by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) as a public service on all vehicles equipped with LPG systems continue at vehicle inspection stations across our country.
