Dangers of the Sun

One of the biggest health problems in summer is undoubtedly sunburn. The sun, which we eagerly await, is the cause of some of these burns. We all know the dangers of ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun. These rays can cause serious illnesses such as cancer, and looking at the sun for a long time can also cause diseases like cataracts. Heatstroke is also among the most common illnesses in summer. Some of the problems caused by staying in the sun too long can cause palpitations, redness of the skin, exhaustion, weakness, skin blemishes, vomiting, and excessive sweating. It is also known that the sun causes signs of premature aging and wrinkles among its harmful effects. One of the most effective ways to protect yourself from the harmful effects of the sun is to avoid sun exposure during the wrong hours. It is important not to go out in the sun between 11 am and 3 pm, when the sun is strongest, and to stay in the shade as much as possible. At the same time, it is necessary to apply UV-filtered creams and high-factor sunscreens 15 minutes before sun exposure. Those who have had a heart attack or have heart disease should not go out in hot weather. These patients are at risk of stroke in extreme heat.
