Oblivion Movie Details

Jack Harper is a drone technician living in the sky with Victoria. They are the last humans left on Earth after it was destroyed by aliens known as Scavs. Jack's job is to travel to the surface all day to repair drones. These are global, flying robots designed to detect and eliminate Scavs remaining on Earth. Jack and Julia are pursued by three drones. They fly into a lightning storm and a canyon to destroy them. Jack manages to destroy two, but the third hits them and they crash into a sandy desert in a radiation zone. Years after a devastating war against an unpredictable alien invasion that brought humanity to the brink of extinction, most of the remaining humans are settled on Titan, Saturn's moon, in 2077. In the film, Jack must protect the power plants that use the ocean to provide energy to Titan, where he repairs drones. He also has memories of a mysterious woman from the time when the world was habitable in the Empire State building. Jack and Vic receive instructions from Sally on the Tet space station, and Vic is eager to leave Earth in two weeks to join the survivors on Titan.
