The Development of the Automotive Industry

The Development of the Automotive Industry
The dizzying developments in the automotive sector over the last 5 years have been closely followed by all of us, and we've often wondered what they will come up with next. In the eighties and nineties, a new car model would emerge in the automotive industry by changing a car's trim, or perhaps its mirrors and headlights. Today, almost every design is a work of art, and there's barely a trace of the old model in each new design. The money allocated by design engineers and the automotive sector to design engineering and R&D in 2011 almost accounts for 71% of profits. Leading companies in the sector, with the slogan "change is inevitable," motivate their teams daily to be the first in producing the best, most durable, visually appealing, and comfortable car. The Geneva Motor Show, held for the 82nd time this year, was where the heart of the automotive world beat with more than 180 exhibitors. The interest shown in the motor show was far beyond expectations, and the show closed its doors having hosted more than 17 million visitors, who looked on with astonishment and showed high-level interest. From this, we can understand that automobiles continue to be at the center of people's attention in every era. Naturally, as expectations are high, car companies work harder to meet these expectations.
