Panic Attacks and Poor Nutrition
Did you know that mistakes in your diet can contribute to having a panic attack? Panic attack episodes leave individuals facing anxiety and fear, believing they cannot overcome the moment. People often think they will die or faint in such situations.
Changes in your diet can also reduce your risk of panic attacks. For example, eating foods rich in vitamin B is extremely important. Rice bran, fruits and vegetables, milk, cheese, eggs, whole grain foods, liver, kidney, and meat are important.
Consume Vitamin B and Whole Grain Foods
It is also beneficial to avoid foods and drinks that trigger panic attacks. Caffeinated foods, fast food habits, diets deficient in vitamins and minerals, undercooked egg whites, discarding yogurt water, monotonous diets, unhealthy and rapid weight loss, not eating meat, alcohol, excessive carbohydrate consumption, and prolonged fasting are among the factors that fuel panic attacks.
If you want to eat well to manage panic attacks, you should first consume at least 2-2.5 liters of water daily. Avoid acidic and sugary drinks. Eat in the Mediterranean style, consume foods with a high glycemic index in moderation, limit your coffee and tea consumption, eat fish at least twice a week, opt for foods rich in vitamin B, reduce sugar intake, eat small meals frequently, and always include whole grain foods in your diet.
