How to Tile a Floor?

We can examine the tiling process in 4 parts. These are subfloor preparation, tile installation, grout filling, and edge finishing. First, you need to check if your subfloor is damp. To do this, clean a part of the floor. Then, tape this section with plastic wrap. If you observe a color difference, your subfloor is wet.

You can fill cracks with putty. Be sure to apply the first tile whole. Continue in this alignment, and when you observe overflow in between, clean the area with the help of a damp cloth. If you need to shape tiles at the end of the laying process, cut them carefully to the desired shape, you can use a tile cutter for this. For grout filling, clean the relevant areas of the tile. You need to prepare as much grout as you will need during the process. Start applying the grout to the grout lines with the help of a special rubber. Remove the grout after 5 minutes. Clean the overflowed grout with clean water. Remaining grout can also be cleaned after it dries. The most ideal way to finish the edges is to use silicone.
