How to Know When Labor is Coming?
Labor, which expectant mothers having their first child await with great curiosity, is actually the final stage of pregnancy and, like pregnancy, is a natural process. The most important sign to help you understand that labor has begun is labor pains. Labor pains are extremely strong contractions that push the baby down the birth canal, and the expectant mother feels pain each time the muscles repeat this process. Labor pains that have a certain pattern also gradually intensify, and as the intervals between pains decrease, labor is approaching.
What Are the Stages of Labor?
The first stage of labor is the contraction stage where labor pains begin. In this stage, the baby is pushed into the birth canal and labor begins. The second stage of labor is the stage where the baby is removed from the mother's uterus and brought outside. The last stage of labor is the stage where the placenta is removed, and if necessary, stitches are given to the mother, completing this stage, and with this stage, labor also ends.
