How Should Mother-Child Relationships Be?
Yesterday's children, today's youth, and tomorrow's mothers. It's like a time tunnel.
The days when we begged our mothers to let us go out for five minutes as if it were yesterday. The wails we made then are the same phrases our own children are using now, and of course, we don't allow it. The bond between a mother and child begins when conception occurs and lasts until death. Our holy book, the Quran, speaks with praise of these sacred beings who protect us above all else. Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Paradise lies at the feet of mothers." Regardless of whether they are mothers or fathers, no matter how bad they are or how poorly they fulfill their duties, even if they are irreligious, they deserve respect from their children. This is true beyond religious observance.
Even if we showed gratitude to our mothers for a lifetime, constantly striving to do everything they said and avoid displeasing them, we could never repay the debt for the nights they stayed awake for us. All children's first loves are their mothers because they see them first when they open their eyes, and most importantly, their mothers are by their side throughout their development.
All men look for their mother's characteristics in the woman they will marry. However, there are some difficult situations. I see this as a serious issue that families, especially mothers, need to pay attention to and focus on. Girls become disgusted with and distance themselves from mother figures who are constantly oppressed at home and never taken seriously; they feel the need to seek refuge in the first man they encounter. Research conducted worldwide has confirmed this thesis, and it has been determined that serious psychological problems arise from the mother-child bond, where the child chooses the mother as a role model, and cannot properly form the character they envision in their mind.
