Erasmus
Erasmus, one of the European Union's education programs, is implemented in many European countries, including our country. Within the scope of the program, named after the famous scientist Erasmus, students studying in higher education institutions can spend a part of their education at a different university in another country, outside of their own university. This period ranges from 4 to 12 months. Not only students but also academics benefit from the Erasmus Student Exchange Program.
Students who go to a different country with the Erasmus program have the opportunity to travel to many countries if they wish. Within the scope of the program, which allows them to practice their language skills, they get to know different cultures and make new friends. Erasmus, which also allows them to see the world from a different perspective, is a program that is currently implemented in a large number of universities and is in high demand by students.
The European Union provides financial assistance to students who wish to study in a different country through the Erasmus program. Although the amounts are not very high, they are sufficient to meet some of the students' needs, such as language education, travel, and transportation expenses. Many students prefer economical countries when utilizing Erasmus options.
